Styling Princess Diana

Designer Elizabeth Emanuel stands with a wedding dress, surrounded by garments on hangers

About the Event

Moderated by PEOPLE Senior Royals Editor Erin Hill, Designer Elizabeth Emanuel and Hairdresser Richard Dalton will speak on their experience styling and designing for Diana, Princess of Wales.

Designer Elizabeth Emanuel will recount the making of Princess Diana's wedding dress—and a secret back-up dress, a replica of which will be on display for one night only during this event, on loan from The Princess & The Platypus Foundation and The Princess Diana Museum. Emanuel will be joined by hairdresser Richard Dalton, who will detail his years spent styling Princess Diana’s hair for over a decade. Together, the pair will reveal how "shy Di" became a global fashion icon.
